Energy-saving & New Energy Vehicle
Industry Development Plan
 Based on the features and requirements of automotive industry
development, new energy vehicle has been included into China
strategic emerging industries. To encourage the industry
development, China has published "the Energy-saving & New
Energy Vehicle Industry Development Plan" in June of 2012.
 The Development Plan has defined the thoughts, target, major tasks
and industrial layout of the energy-saving and new energy vehicles.
It also includes a package of supporting policies to promote energysaving and new energy vehicle industry in various aspects such as
industrial policies, fiscal and tax policies, investment and financing
policies, etc.

EV’s Difference from Traditional
Vehicles in Safety
 Potential danger to passenger and pedestrian caused by massive
traction battery
 High energy REESS potential hazards (Explosion, Fire, and
Electrolyte spillage, etc)
 Potential electric shock caused by high voltage
