5. Auto Shut-Off:- Automatic Float Valve Micro Switch controls the water level automatically and

Installation procedure of SUPERB RO System is so easy, you can install it without any technician’s
help. A little help required of plumber for diverter valve fitment. You have to follow few easy
steps and here’s your product ready to serve you the purest drinking water:
1st STEP: Plumber’s job is only to fit the diverter valve set on the main water supply.
(If plumber is not available, its very easy to fit but you will required a pipe wrench & teflone
tape for the respective job).
Take the Diverter Valve Set, you will find two things in set one is diverter valve &
another one is nipple. Apply some teflone tape on diverter valve, raw water inlet’s threaded
portion & existing tap’s threaded male portion. Tight the nipple on both end with the help of
wrench and make it sure that nipple is tightened properly to avoid leakage. Take the Diverter
Valve set and tight it with nipple properly. Here’s your raw water inlet ready for RO System.
(Please see the diagram also).

2nd STEP : Take the pre filter bowl first & open its cap.
3rd STEP : Take both elbow connectors & tighten it with bowl cap’s both port named IN & OUT
on the cap.(please apply some teflone tape on connectors for proper thread’s gripping & to
ensure there is no leakage from ports).
4th STEP : Take the Spun(Sediment Filter 5μ) from plumbing kit and fit into the filter housing.
5th STEP: Take prepared bowl cap & tight it properly with filter housing & please make it sure
that you have tighten it properly to avoid leakages.
6th STEP: Take the white pipe from plumbing kit & cut it into three parts & assemble accordingly.
One part is required to connect the raw water outlet to filter housing, second part to connect
the filter housing to RO System Inlet & third part is required for RO System Reject water outlet.
7th STEP: Here’s your RO System is ready with all pipe lines, now insert the membrane into membrane
housing & tight the cap properly and connect the respective pipe now please plug in the RO System
Power cord to a properly installed 230 V AC power outlet & make it switch on.
8th STEP: Please run the unit & wait for all filters & the RO Membrane must be thoroughly
flushed prior to collecting water for drinking in the storage tank. The RO Membrane is preset
at a purified: reject water ratio of 1:3. The reject water can be used for watering plants or
Washing floors, but not for washing clothes or drinking.

OPERATION & MAINTENANCE

1. Do not store purified water for long periods. If unused for more than three days. Dump the water
& refill the reservoir.
2. Twice monthly, switch off the SUPERB RO System turn off the water valve and clean out the reservoir
By wiping thoroughly with a 0.5% sodium hypochlorite solution (diluted liquid bleach). Turn on power
& water and fill reservoir. Dump all the water and than refill ready for drinking.
3. The water produced by the SUPERB RO System is pure & does not contain any residual biocide and
algae stat . Wind borne flora spores may enter the reservoir and a green film may be observed. This is
Non dangerous to health.
4. Wipe the exterior of the SUPERB RO System only with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use detergents or
Abrasives.
5. Ensuring both power & water pressure is being supplied to the RO System properly to avoid any
Mishappening with the system.
6. To maintain quality assured water, only use genuine SUPERB RO replacement cartridges, specifically
Designed for the SUPERB RO System.

7. Each stage in the purification process plays an important role in producing the end result, to maintain
drinking water quality please read the following periodically changes for filters:
A. Sediment Filter 5μ plays a pivotal role in protecting and extending the life of the fine filters within the
SUPERB RO System, the filter cartridge will only require replacement every 6-9 months however, for areas
Where the supply water contains the high level of sedimentation, the filter cartridge will require
Replacement every 3-4 months.
B. Pre Carbon filter absorbs foul tastes and odour from the water and removes chlorine and organic
impurities. This filter Cartridge is designed to last around 12 month before requiring replacement.
C. Sediment Filter polishes the incoming water prior to further treatment, ensuring the process water
Is free of any particulate matter. This filter Cartridge is designed to last around 12 month before requiring
replacement.
D. RO Membrane is the ‘heart’ of the SUPERB RO System and is designed to work effectively for at least 12
Months. The best manufacturer in the market provides the RO Membrane to ESSEX and the product is
renown for its superior performance over other manufacturers.
E. Mini Post Carbon polishes the water by removing any latent odours or gases to ensure safe, crystal clear
, natural tasting mineral water. Mini Post Carbon Filter is designed to last around 12 months before
requiring replacement.

SAFETY & PRECAUTIONS

1. The incoming tap water must be tasted for Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) prior to installation.
2. ESSEX does NOT recommend installing a SUPERB RO System unless the TDS falls in the range 200ppm2000ppm.
3. The SUPERB RO System must be installed in a accessible, clean & well ventilated area. Keep away from
Direct sunlight and heating devices.
4. Ensure that the incoming water temperature is below 36⁰C. Hot water will damage the filters and RO
Membrane.
5. Ensure that the incoming water pressure is in the range 60kPa to 200kPa. If the water pressure exceeds
200kPa a Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) will be required. PVR’s available from ESSEX, at an additional
Cost.
6. The reject water pipe must be placed lower than the tap connection to the RO System. The tap
connection should be within 2Mtrs. of the RO System.
7. Avoid using any extension plugs or cable for power supply.
