We Offer a New Solution to
Enhance Wellness

Peak BrainHappiness Training is a method to
enhance current activities and future health




Improved mental outlook and happiness
Better concentration
Enhanced memory
We have developed unique, patented and trade
secret methods to measure and train:



Single-pointed focus
Alertness or arousal
Neureka!—new learning rewarded by feeling good
We Offer a New Method

Peak BrainHappiness Training is an additional
method to enhance future health



Decrease health claims to increase profits.
Enhancing happiness and success of individuals in
the workplace and in their lives will increase
productivity and decrease sick time.
Can be integrated with your current wellness
efforts which may provide incentives, but it is
already very pleasant.
Present-Day Happiness Leads
to Enhanced Future Health
and Success

Diener and Chan’s recent review of 160 studies of
seven different types supports this conclusion.
 Dr. Diener is a Prof. Emeritus at the Univ. of
Illinois and one of the major researchers in
positive psychology.
 157 of the 160 studies were positive.
Happiness also predicts success.

Australian Survey Study Links
Happiness and Future Health



The Australian Dept. of Labour surveyed
nearly 10,000 people in 2001 and 2004.
Siahpush et al’s results from analyzing the
survey indicated that those who were happy
most of the time in 2001 were over 50%
more likely to be both healthier and free of
long term health concerns in 2004.

We Used the Australian Survey
Happiness Question from
Siahpush et al.
During the past 4 weeks, have you been a
happy person?
(6) all of the time,
(5) most of the time,
(4) a good bit of the time,
(3) some of the time,
(2) a little of the time,
(1) none of the time.
The Neureka! Protocol

A way of processing EEG that measures and trains the
brain’s system for processing new discoveries





Neureka! is short for Neural Eureka!
Feels like really waking up—“Aha!”
New discoveries make you feel more aware, happy, and
satisfied, while they enhance your learning and
memory.
It is a clarification of the 40 Hz. (gamma) EEG rhythm
involved in memory and learning.
It stimulates the Prefrontal Pleasure Center to reward
you for learning something new. This is a part of the
brain’s dopamine pleasure system.
We Have Completed Four
Experiments Linking Neureka!
to Positive Feelings






Thinking about feelings such as happiness, joy, delight, pleasure,
satisfaction, gratitude, and appreciation, enhances it, as does
anticipating a good time.
Neureka! training also improved memory and attention.
First study is published in the Journal of Alternative and
Complementary Medicine by Beverly Rubik (on CD).
Second, subjects increased Neureka! in 6 seconds.
Third, Neureka! levels with positive emotions were higher than
with negative ones.
Fourth, in 12 Neureka! sessions, the group was 30 – 50% happier,
and reported the same level 4 months later.
Lasting Happiness at Four
Month Follow-Up After Five
Hours of Neureka! Training

We Train With Neurofeedback
and Neurovideofeedback


Biofeedback—providing information from the
body or brain in an understandable way so that
people can learn from it
Neurofeedback—information is from the brain
(EEG)


Also known as EEG biofeedback or brainwave
biofeedback
Neurovideofeedback adds either


Simultaneous video of an individual’s actions, or
Control of playback of a DVD or video file
Information Flow in Neurovideofeedback
Both Trainers detect Focus, Alertness, and Neureka! levels. The sponge Sensors on
the forehead and the ear pick up the tiny electrical signals (brainwaves or EEG)
from the brain and send them to a Transmitter inside the SensorVisor (or
SensorPhone or SensorBand). They are transmitted wirelessly to a Receiver
attached to the desktop or laptop PC. The state of the art software provides visual
and auditory feedback to you by changing sounds and displays. Simultaneous video
of practice can be added.
We Provide Screen Designs or
Neurovideofeedback Displays



Can open them from within the BioExplorer
software like Excel spreadsheets.
Built around our three protocols.
Systems include our specially designed
designs featuring the three protocols:



44 designs for the Peak Achievement Trainer
68 designs for the Peak BrainHappiness Trainer
The software is capable of creating a huge variety
of designs.
The Peak BrainHappiness Trainer is
the Premium Edition of the Peak
Achievement Trainer




Both use an EEG system, wireless and not medical or
scary (with sponge Sensors)
They include a software solution that synchronizes
video and EEG
The Peak Achievement Trainer includes Focus and
Alertness Protocols and FocusedAlert Designs
The Peak BrainHappiness Trainer adds the

Peak BrainHappiness Designs
Excited BrainHappiness Designs
MeditAider Designs
The FocusedAlert Protocol


Focus measures the degree of single-pointedness
of focus on a particular object of attention
Alertness is a measure of the degree of arousal of
the Central Nervous system



Can result from mental effort or interest
Concepts and measures are familiar to
psychologists
Focus training was successfully used as part of a
“Brain Brightening” program for seniors
