DOCTORAL STUDENTS SUMMER CONFERENCE 2015

A co-operation between:
Time: August 25-28, 2015, in accordance with separate schedule (at the web)
Place: The summer conference will take place in the Holidays Residence L’Escandille in a
mountain village, Autrans, near Grenoble, France
Travelling: The participants could either arrange their own trip (on their own expense) or
participate in the "FPIRC-trip" from Arlanda, Stockholm – which FPIRC will pay for – in
both cases the participants should be in place well before the common bus travel in Grenoble,
on the morning of August 26.
At the moment it is not decided exactly when the "FPIRC-trip" will go from Arlanda, but
most probably in the early afternoon on August 25; more information about this will be given
later.

Accommodation: Double rooms (incl. breakfast) have been preliminary booked
Languish: The Summer Conference will be held in English
Registration/Selection: In principal "först till kvarn". Application to the FPIRC office –
through ordinary mail (see below) – at the latest by April 9
Other: The fee for the Swedish participants is SEK 1,500:- (an invoice will be sent to the
University after the conference) per person. The fee includes all, but the travel to and from
Arlanda Stockholm, which has to be arranged and paid individually. Possible cancellation has
to be done at latest on May 21 – otherwise a fee of SEK 5,000 will be charged.
Public Communication – oral and written
During the symposium, each student will give a presentation of the research work related to
her/his doctoral work. Each student will also write a short article of her/his presentation in
English for the joint Symposium book.
The information regarding these tasks is presented in the schedule.
