Hypothesis: If we survey many people for dominant and recessive traits, then the (dominant or recessive) traits will be more common. SURVEY 1. Use the charts on lab book pages THAT I TOLD YOU IN CLASS (THE HOMEWORK PAGES) to survey at least five people. 2. They need to be family members. If you don’t have enough family members then do a friend but it cannot be someone on the team. 3. Ask each person if they have the dominant or recessive phenotype (physical characteristic) for each trait listed. 4. Under the survey count the total number of dominant and recessive traits. 5. We will fill in the Class Total part together when everyone has completed their survey.
