• Pick one of the discussion questions you have the most
opinions on. Write a short paragraph telling me what
you think.
• Remember to have a topic sentence, support and
concluding sentence.
1. Explain why it is important to the story that Charlotte is a
dynamic character.
2. Decide what was the most important event that lead to
Charlotte changing. Discuss why you think that event was
the most important.
3. If the families that Charlotte was supposed to be traveling
with would have shown up, would we be able to call her a
dynamic character? Why or why not? (How would that
have changed the story?)
4. What do you think a possible theme of the novel is? (The
theme is the message the author wants you to take away
from the story.)
