Each child has a set of 3 charts, each of which covers 2 of the 6 domains 2. Each chart lists skills horizontally in order of months of age 3. Start with child’s chronological age 4. Use the HELP Strands to assess each domain 5. Basal: 2 skills in a row 6. Ceiling: 2 skills in a row 7. Observation can be incidental or structured 8. Color in the skill blocks from assessment 9. Once skill blocks are colored, it is easy to see what skills to teach next 10.
