performance and achieve language learning goals, the four macro skills of listening, speaking reading and writing are usually the most frequently assessed and focused areas. However, speaking, as a productive skill, seems intuitively the most important of all the four language skills because it can distinctly show the correctness and language errors that a language learner makes. Since English speaking tests, in general, aim to evaluate how the learners express their improvement and success in pronunciation and communication, several aspects, especially speaking test formats and pronunciation need to be considered. What are we doing here??? In this pages we want to show some simple ideas to make speaking skill with students in perfect environment of class. We depend on two main ways: a) By using role play with good reaction and acting. b) By making a perfect and exciting presentation. Role play Ask your students to make a role play and act this situation ,they can use a suitable clothes and real object and make the class room as land mark for different situations also you can ask from classmate to be a judges to evaluate and give marks for the role play. That is give your students many skills than speaking such as (anaylies,obsevation,exciting to act, evaluation) You can write the situation in a piece of papers and tell the students to choose. We give a symbol (A ) and ( b ) for students or you can use their names. Situations: 1- You are meeting for a first time. 2- You are friends. It’s late and you would like to go home. 3- A is working and B is the customer. 4- You work together. It’s A’s first day.B: introduce yourself. 5- You don’t know each other. A: You bump into B who drops her books Work in groups of three, throw a dice to choose a person in the box, ask questions about the person: ( you need a box and pieces of papers) Ask about name – Age – Job – Family – What she looks like) then swap roles and repeat. ( Characters are Give your students some pictures to choose one , then make role play ( You need stuff and a correct place of class to make acting correctly ) Role play 1- fast food 2- flight attendant 3- Self- service buffet. 4- tray Presentation When I grow up ( ask your student to drawing her future on a board, then ask the classmate try to guess what is she want to be when she grows up????) Presentation Think of a dish that you like and make it or bring a picture for it. You must talking about: Ingredients. Who usually prepares it? When you eat it ? Why you like it? Food that you liked when You were a child. Role play Choose the situation from this picture below A= You arrive at your destination and get off the train B= You are carrying a very heavy bag. A= You are in the train café with a friend B= You don’t have enough money to pays for the coffee. A= You are at the train but have missed your train, you want to buy a ticket for the next train. B= You work in the ticket office. Presentation Ask the student to give you five reasons for Why are people learning English language??? Role play Ask the students to choose one of the markets and make role play, use the expressions you have learnt ( they can bring real object , clothes , make a suitable place in class to practice selling and buying. Role play On the phone Ask the student to make a message or an appointment by using phone for example: A=call B B= answer. ask A to hold A=accept B= wait a minute ask what A wants A ask to speak to C B= say that C isn't a available ask to take a message. A= leave a message B= thanks A= thank B say goodbye B= say good bye Role play with game Ask two students to play games such as chess , monopoly , cards, abalone scrabble , snake and ladder, then listen to them when they are discussing with using English language. Role play Ask student to choose one of papers then act the situation Situations: 1- you are strangers, it’s very hot outside. A: start talking to B about the weather. 2- you are working together A : you are going somewhere special on holiday. Tell B about it. 3- you are the boss. The company is closing .Tell B the bad news. Presentation Ask the student to talk about a famous person and hang a big picture for her\ him on a board.
