 As a group, rewrite the radio news script into better radio and TV
formats
 Decide to add needed information to make a complete piece of news
with lead/headline and body
 Prepare to answer the following:
1. What are your main considerations in writing a lead of broadcast news
scripts….for radio…..for TV?
2. How does writing the body of the news for radio differ from doing it in
TV in terms of: flow of information from lead to body; flow of TV
visuals against the flow of emphatic or repetitive ideas/concepts in the
radio?
3. What newsworthy angle should be emphasized in the lead and body
of the news among all others in the following areas?
 Politics among religious leaders
