How can a timeline help us better understand events in history? • Think-Pair-Share: Students will work in pairs to complete practice Regents question on Neolithic Revolution • Vocabulary: Decade=a 10 year period Century= a 100 year period Millennium= a thousand year history 20th Century=refers to the years between 1900-1999 Create your own Timeline • Students will create a timeline of their lives that includes the five most important events. • Include a title and label each event with the appropriate date.
