Football Mum Corsage
• Materials: chrysanthemum, salal leaves, mum adhesive,
bows, streamers, #22 wire, floral tape, novelty items,
finishing spray, floral knife, mum corsage backing and
scissors
Flowers to Wear
•Boutonnieres
• Comes from the French word meaning
“buttonhole”
• Is traditionally worn in the buttonhole
of a lapel on a jacket
Flowers to Wear
• Design Considerations
• Should work with, not against an
outfit i.e. compliment it
• It is best to avoid flowers that
require a lot of water to stay
fresh
• Could use a corsage stem if
necessary
• Try to use rugged or hardy
flowers
• Designs should be light-weight
Flowers to Wear
•Prep and Construction
1. Prepare nonperishable items
