Harrow Symphony Orchestra is Harrow’s own
orchestra, founded in 1946. It encourages
local musicians and gives them and their
audiences the opportunity to enjoy and
participate in orchestral music making.

The orchestra performs three concerts each
year and rehearsals continue throughout the
year, providing members with a broad
selection of musical experience. We are
particularly proud that we have been able to
put on concerts which have raised funds for
local charities.

We are very pleased to be continuing our
project of playing the full cycle of Beethoven’s
Symphonies. In previous seasons we
performed Beethoven’s 1st , 7th and 8th
Symphonies, and this season we are
performing his 6th, 5th and 4th .
Harrow Symphony

welcoming orchestra.
We have vacancies in
the string sections and
would love to hear
particularly from
violinists and violists
of a grade 8 level or
equivalent with good
sight reading skills and

Thursday evenings from 8.00 to 10.00 pm at
Harrow Arts Centre, Uxbridge Road, Hatch
End, HA5 4EA

The Church is located on the Ridgeway
between Norwood Drive and Church Drive,
10 minutes walk from North Harrow and
Rayners Lane tube stations, and on the H11
bus route.
