Performing Arts
AIMS:
-
To provide an educational foundation for a range of careers in the
Performing Arts industry and allied sectors

To provide specialised studies directly relevant to the vocations and
professions in which students intend to see employment

To provide the student with the necessary skills, flexibility, knowledge as a
basis for future studies and career development

To develop students’ abilities in performing arts or technical theatre

‘I really enjoyed the course, it really developed my skills as an
actor and built my confidence. I always felt safe to try all the new
things that were introduced to us, I always felt safe to experiment
and improve.

‘Alice in Wonderland’
And Spain [theatre residency] was just, c’mon, you just don’t get
that sort of experience in other schools or colleges’
After leaving college in July 2010, Frieda is already a jobbing actor.
Signed to Identity Agency, Frieda has just finished filming the guest lead in the
New Year episodes of ‘Casualty’ for BBC TV .
Recent work includes the role of ‘Shanice’ in the BBC2 Drama ‘Excluded’
She is now filming Law and Order for ITV and has just landed a role in a
major new British Independent film. WATCH THIS SPACE.......
