Entering Units of competency – Transition Hospitality
 For the Hospitality transition you need to select the new qualification
 Where a student has achieved a unit of competency in 2013 / old Qualification
SIT20207 and it is equivalent to the new unit, it is entered and marked as Credit
Transfer in the outcome status.
 If the unit was not achieved in 2013, it MUST be entered as the new unit code

Selecting a RTO
The AIS is the RTO for
most courses delivered
in AIS Schools:
• Business Services,
• Construction Pathways
• Early Childhood
• Electro technology
• Entertainment
• Financial Services
• Hospitality
• IDT
• Metal & Engineering
• Primary Industries
• Retail
• Tourism.
 Some VET Courses are delivered by external RTOs. For example; MTA for
Automotive.
 When entering your VET Competency units you need to select the correct RTO. A
school can select more than ONE RTO, but will need to select one as the default –
usually the most commonly accessed RTO.
