Question 1
What did you think of Kelly before the writer revealed who Kelly
was at the end of the story?
The suggested answer:
I imagined Kelly is a handsome gentleman as the descriptions of him
was clearly describing a man. The way Sarah pictured him made me
anxious to know whether they would meet and fall in love. After all,
Sarah was memorizing her previous experience with Terence and
Pancho. This part of the story made I felt sorry for Sarah for her bad
lucks with men. Therefore, I was crossing my fingers that Sarah and
Kelly would end up together. After reading the whole story, I almost
laughed (and disappointed of course) when Kelly is not as what I have
expected. Kelly is a horse. Sigh…I thought this is going to be a love
story but still it is a love story, between a human being with another
creature
