Carol Farooqui - Joce Farooqui Period 2 What makes you stand out from your siblings? “ Well.. I am my mom’s only girl. I am from a different dad then my brothers. I became more independent at a younger age because your grandma worked ALOOOOTTT. Lastly, I’m the cutest one DUH. “ How did having kids at a young age affect who you are today? “ I did have to grow up faster but I did become strong off of that and I don’t regret having you boogers young because that made me the gangster mom I am! “ How’d you meet your husband? “ He was my high school sweetheart. He was my first kiss and also my first and last boyfriend. His friends were trying to talk to my friends we looked at each other exchanged numbers and we’ve been together ever since!” What was your worst expirenced? “ Hearing the doctors saying to me and your dad “’ Your daughter is diagnosed with brain cancer stage 3.’” I do wish a 1000 times it was me instead. You’ll understand when you have kids them in pain is the WORST thing you will ever feel and expirenced.” Before you die what is the one thing you want your kids to accomplish? “ Hmm for all my kids it’s different, I’d like Isaac to become the CEO he always dreamt’ of being I’d like you to kick cancer’s butt and graduate from a 4 year university I’d like Fozan to grow up and be the best father to his kids I’d like Rizwaan to prove to everyone he can graduate! MOST OF ALL I WANT ALL YOU GUYS TO BE HAPPY! How was the transformation of being a Catholic to a Muslim? “ Well I did the transformation so your dad’s mom can accept me. In the Islamic religion they believe they have to marry a Muslim, (good luck with that!). It was a long process but the outcome of being with your dad was worth every single second of it.” What was an average day in your home when you were a kid? “ I had to play the mother role because my mom worked all night so in the day time she will sleep. My dad left my mom so she had to work a lot. I took my little brother to school, made all of dinner and cleaned. You have it good you know?” Thank you for your time!
