Test Review Format The test has multiple choice and essay (Open Ended Response) questions. Today’s review will be similar – but not identical – to Tuesday’s test. Why does Charlie lose his job at the factory? How does Charlie find out the results of the operation are temporary? Which of these statements better reflects the theme of “Flowers for Algernon”? 1. Science and technology promise unlimited benefits for humanity’s future. -OR2. For every benefit of science and technology, there can be an unexpected drawback. What does tangible mean? What does illiteracy mean? Is psyciatrist spelled right? How about psycology? Psychic? Pseudonym? After the operation, is there a difference in Charlie’s personality? If so, is it for the better or worse? How was the first-person point of view effective in conveying Charlie’s thoughts and feelings? Would it be more effective if told from a different point of view?
