• THE PUTNAM COUNTY ASSESSOR’S OFFICE January 2003 TO PRESENT.
STARTING WORK ON GIS IN HOUSE
• LATE 2004, THEN ASSESSOR, GETTING ANXIOUS, COUNTIES WERE
GETTING AHEAD OF HIM ON COMPLETING DATA, DECIDES TO
CONTRACT IT OUT.
• JULY 2005, CONTRACTED L ROBERT KIMBALL AND ASSOCIATES TO
COMPLETE OUR DATA.

• COMPLETED A PILOT AREA BEST FIT
• ASSESSOR DIDN’T LIKE ACCURACY
• DECIDED ON FULL COGO WITH OFFICE STAFF PULLING DEEDS &
SURVEYS
• BROUGHT ON PART TIME EMPLOYEE TO ASSIST, EVENTUALLY FULL
TIME POSITION.
• NEW ASSESSOR JANUARY 2009, FINAL DELIVERY OF DATA FEBRUARY
