Each professor will have their own style on how to write a proper case Each subject (e.g. finance, marketing) will have a different style to write the case STEP 1: PROBLEM IDENTIFICATION Identify the who the decision maker is Identify the problem. LENGTH = Few sentences! Don’t give me paragraph long answers. CASE TODAY…. Decision Maker In this case, the decision maker is Rohit Narang. He is a computer programmer who has just recently joined Apex Computers. Problem Statement Rohit joined Apex with expectations of a thriving and encouraging environment. He learns quickly that his team is unmotivated, and his boss plays a dictator role. Rohit needs to decide what to do in the short term and long term to keep himself and his teammates happy STEP 2: SITUATION ANALYSIS Provide the Analysis of the Situation Communication Process Efficient Effective Barriers to effective communication? Conflict Good…Bad? Cause of Conflict Motivation Why aren’t employees motivated?
