The project concept was adapted from the Donald Trump show, “The Apprentice”. Project Content Developing an existing or new product Defining your target market – presenting the customer profile Creating the marketing mix for this product Product: creating a new product, highlighting product's features, brand name, packaging, service, and warranty Price: description of pricing strategies - price for customers and resellers, price compared to competitor’s, discounts, credit terms, payment period Place: how and where the product will be distributed Promotions: description of promotional strategies including the message, the media selected, special offers, and the timing of the promotional campaigns.- activities related to advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, social media, and publicity. (TV advertisement must be presented) Project Details Your group’s presentation will be shown in front of a panel of judges. Judges will ask questions. Your presentation should include all of the above: model of the product, customer profile, and all of the 4 P’s. TV advertisement will also be presented. Audience members will fill out a worksheet based on the presentations.
