The Class Consists Of: • 4 or 5 online lectures (20 minutes each) • Online documentaries (45 -55 minutes each) • Two Textbooks: • African Americans in the City of Light by Tyler Stovall • Giovanni’s Room by James Baldwin • 4 or 5 papers (depending on whether you receive 2 or 3 credits) • Four are 3-4 pages each for students getting 2 credits. • Students receiving 3 credits must write an addition 8-10 page paper that is due before the spring semester ends. • The deadlines on the papers are flexible.
