Photo 1
One of the world’s most
famous faces
“Afghan Girl” was featured
on the front cover of June
1985 issue of National
Geographic Magazine
This picture captures the
essence of a 13 year old girl
escaping a refugee camp in
Pakistan.
“Afghan Girl”
Photo 2
I think this picture shows
that, even in hard times like
a dust storm a family always
sticks together.
Something like about this
picture is that the women's
clothing make the picture
stand out and them due to
the dull color of the sand in
the background.
“Dust Strom India”
Photo 3
This picture shows a man
reading to himself and
maybe to the elephant.
Something I like about
this picture is that it
shows the relationship
that humans have with
animals.
“Man Reading”
Photo 4
I think this picture shows
that every one is the same,
all around the world. For
example take the hand prints
on the wall, where ever you
go in the world you will find
hand prints on a walls. Its
just we might have different
thoughts and beliefs, but at
the end we are all the same.
Photo 5
Something I liked about
this picture is that it
shows what length people
are willing to go to get
food. These fisher man
will sit all day long on the
poles to catch a fish so
that they could feed their
family.
Photo 6
I think this picture shows the
power of nature. In this picture a
old man is carrying a sewing
machine in the monsoon. He is
probably relocating to higher
ground and that sewing machine
probably feeds his family or that
sewing machine is the source of
income in his household.
Something I like about this
picture is that it shows a weak old
man that probably lost everything,
but at the end he is still smiling.
Photo 7
This picture also shows
the power of nature and
also it shows that what
length people are willing
to go to save some one.
Photo 8
This picture shows that
kids are willing to play
with what ever they could
find, even when there is a
war happing in their
country. Kids like to play
Something I don’t like
about this picture is that
there are live rounds
where the kids are playing.
