Bubble Gum

Which brand of bubble
gum loses it’s flavor the
fastest?
The purpose of my investigation is to
determine what brand of bubble gum loses it’s
flavor the fastest based on the loss of sugar
content. This is important to know because if
you want to chew a piece of bubble gum for a
long time with it still having flavor, you would
know which brand to buy.
I hypothesize that Double
Bubble will lose it’s flavor
the fastest. I believe this
because from my schema of
just chewing gum, is that
loses it’s flavor really fast.

My hypothsize was incorrect. Dubble Bubble
did not loses it’s flavor the fastest. Chewing
extra Bubble gum, I found that the average
lose of sugar was 2 grams. The next gum,
Dubble Bubble had an average of 4.7 grams
lost. For Hubba Bubba there was an average
of 5 grams that were lost. If I had to do this
experiment again, I would not have blown any
bubbles because it might have effected the
loss of sugar.
