Goal Setting for Your Program
• We set Goals
– Everyone sets goals.
– Why do goals fail?
• Unrealistic goal(s)
• No action plan
• No follow thru
• What is a Goal
– Goals are benchmarks, achievements that are CLEAR, MEASURABLE
and REALISTIC.
– Two types of goals?
• Individual goals
• Team goals
– We set both individual and team goals every Friday morning on a 3x5
card each player writes down team goals on one side and individual
goal on the other side. I collect them and critique them next week.
