Navistar iSupplier Portal Administration Training Session Revision: 2.0 Revision Date: June 3, 2010 Introductions • Tim Miles – Introduction and Overview • Pat Tagney - iSupplier Portal Administration Training • Jim Smith – web based training demonstration and question session What is the Navistar iSupplier Portal? • A web-based communication tool with benefits: – View your Parts POs in real time – planned, critical, military, direct ship – Reduce phone calls and emails – Eventually eliminate the labor intensive e-tool – Self service your profile – View weekly Parts purchase forecasts – Manage your shipments to Navistar Parts locations and dealers Navistar iSP – Notes of Interest • iSP Does not replace EDI • For suppliers who are not using EDI, the iSupplier Portal will be the only way for you to receive your Planned POs from Navistar Parts • Critical & Direct Ship orders will continue to be transmitted as they are today Supplier Expectations • Log on to the portal daily – Purchase orders to Acknowledge • Military PO’s • Critical PO’s • Direct Ship Emergency PO’s • All Changes to Planned PO’s – On all other PO’s, be proactive and update shipping promises on POs that will be late – Note – Need by Date = ship by date Transportation Compliance All suppliers will continue to ship in compliance with current Navistar’s routing instructions (CRDR-1) as provided on the Navistar Supplier website. Failure to comply with Carrier routing instructions (CTDR-01) will result in chargeback through material invoice reduction for the entire amount of the freight charge. •A shipment will be considered non-compliant for: Shipping more than once per week into the same distribution facility via LTL (Parts Division only) Failure to use the correct carrier Failure to use the correct transportation mode Failure to ship into designation consolidation points Shipments with a valid Excess Premium Freight Control(EPFC) authorization issued by Navistar will not be considered non-compliant. How Does the Process Begin? • Administrator receives email from Workflow Mailer – Link to portal – save as favorite or desktop icon – User name – SXXXXX1002 – always stays the same – Password – case sensitive, which you will change during first log in – Administrator will grant access to others within the organization – Back-ups are required for both Administrator & Expeditor What happens at Go Live – Day 1 • Expeditors will receive email notifications from Workflow Mailer • Reasons for Notifications* – PO has been created – A critical order has been created – The supplier has not responded to a “PO to acknowledge” in the allotted time * Notification emails can be turned off by the individual user in the portal What if I have questions? • Visit FAQ’s, Supplier Training Aids , and presentations at: www.navistarsupplier.com > Parts Group > iSupplier Portal • Email isupplierportal@navistar.com with questions iSP Training Today - Administrator • How to set up employees in your portal • How to reset an employee’s password • How to update employees contact information • How to disable an employee from the portal • How to change your own password • How to disable email notifications Supplier Training Aids • The Supplier Training Aids (STA’s) will be available on the iSupplier Portal Website and on the Navistar External Supplier website. • STA’s will consist of training for the Transactional as well as the Administration applications. • There are several ways that you will be able to look at this training – First is the “See It button”, this walks you through each step slowly so that you can understand the application. – Next is the “Try it button”, this allows you to click on each step to get you familiar with the application. – The we have the “Know it button”, this one test you to see if you can actually do the step in the application. Supplier Training Aids continued • The next one is the “Do it button” this one you can use while you are actually in the application in case you get lost during a step. • Then finally we have the “Print it button”, once you have left clicked on the specific UPK you can click on the print button to print that UPK.
