Law 9 Ball In and Out of Play 1 Objectives At the end of this lesson the student will: • state the times when the ball is out of play • state two items from which the ball may rebound and remain in play 2 BALL OUT OF PLAY Only two methods of stopping play: • Whole ball crosses a boundary line • The referee stops play The ball is in play at all other times! 4 BALL IN AND OUT OF PLAY Ball out of play: 1.
