6/7 Man Pressure
Why do we use 6/7 Man Pressure?
•Places stress on the Offensive Protection
•Offense is forced to keep RB in the backfield
•QB has very little time to get the ball off
•Attack protections/weak pass blockers
•Great for run and pass downs
•As long as you understand the concept, you can send
any six or seven players you want, ie. Variety
•It’s one of the reasons why you run a 3-4!!!

•Stance- Two-point stance head-up 2-gapping on the man in front of you
•Attack the man in front of you – read pass run
•Run- react to the ball carrier
•Pass- If your man blocks you, drop to help w/ nearest pass threat
•If your man does not block, rush the QB through the RB
