• Working Holiday (max 6 months), easy to obtain
• Occupational Trainee, takes longer to obtain
• Online procedure
• Can take up to 5 months in case of an Occupational Trainee visa
Visa example: Canada
• Less than 6 months = no visa required
• More than 6 months = visa & work permit needed,
via the embassy in Berlin
• “Letter of Invitation” from your Canadian supervisor is always
necessary

Internship & Study within Europe
Internship period: • 2 ‐12 months; • During your MMD programme; • Or after graduation as an MMD masterstudent:
¾ within one year of graduation, for a period of 2 – 12 months, depending on the number of months that you have not used during
the MMD programme;
¾ Request has to be made while registered as MMD student.

abroad, ergo you need to report them to Radboudumc within 1‐2 weeks
