A CTION TAKEN REPORT ON THE BASIS OF FIRST
MEETING OF S TATE INNOVATION COUNCIL -2013

This is with reference to the Video Conference of the Sikkim
Innovation Council which we had with Dr Sam Pitroda on
31st Oct 2013 during the conference we raised issues on the problems we are facing regarding telecommunication connectivity to the West District Headquarters, Gyalshing of
Sikkim in particular and Sikkim in general because of which we have not been able to roll out various e governance applications.

Action taken –A White Paper For “Connectivity in Sikkim” submitted to the National Innovative Council

Already State Innovation Council was formed in the State headed by HCM as Chairman and Secretary, Science &
Technology as Member Secretary

Action Taken - Notification issued regarding the formation of two Councils in the State.
