Smethwick Food Bank
Who are we?
We are part of the Yessmethwick Council, where
we have discussions on things, where we think
will help either in school or out of school.
Today we are going to tell you about the foodbank
which we are going to be supporting.
How it works?
Individuals, Churches and Schools donate non-perishable,
in-date food to the Foodbank. All food that Foodbank give
out is donated. Volunteers, sort through all the food to
check if they are in date. They are then stored until
needed. People who need food will be given emergency
food of three meals each day for three days.

How you can help?
Well you have just watched a short drama piece where you have
witnessed a family in need, who received food from their local
Foodbank.
We already have helped the Foodbank, before Christmas. We donated
many items, which have helped local people. But, we believe that we
can do more. So, could you please bring in items to help the Foodbank.
All food will be collected and taken to the Foodbank.
