READ THIS FIRST ---- We have a couple of rules (sorry!)

Due the volume of food drives and the limited resources of the Freestore Foodbank, we can
only accomodate delivery and pickups for food drives that require 3 or more barrels at any one
location. We encourage you to come to our donor facility at 1250 Tennessee Ave, Cinti 45229
to pickup and return barrels and posters. We will gladly load and unload them for you.

Please complete your food drive information below and email (or snail mail) it back to Brian
Weichert at least two weeks before your event starts.

Barrel drops and pick-ups must be scheduled Monday-Friday (excluding holidays) between 7
a.m. & 2 p.m. If you have numerous barrels in various locations, you will need to have an
assigned central receiving location. During busy times, we may not be able to meet exact
dates and times.
Helpful Hints

Announce the dates of the drive well in advance.
o We can provide posters for you to publicize the drive. The posters, newsletters, bulletin
boards, faxes, or flyers are excellent ways to promote the food drive, but nothing
motivates like top down involvement!

Limit the length of your drive.
o Single day special event drives can be very successful if well publicized.
o People lose interest if the drive goes on too long!
o To help keep interest make it a competition between groups, departments, or divisions.

We accept monetary donations from your food drive.
o Not everyone has extra food at home or remembers to bring in cans.
o For every dollar donated, we are able to purchase $8.00 worth of food.
o Checks should be made out to the Freestore/Foodbank. Send all checks together (no
cash please) to: FSFB, Attn: Brian Weichert, 1250 Tennessee Ave., Cinti., OH 45229.
Please mention your organization name and that these gifts are from a food drive.

Keep in mind these food items are ALWAYS needed: canned meat products (tuna, chicken,
ham, spaghetti with meatballs, chili with meat and beans, beef stew, beans and weiners, etc.)
peanut butter, canned vegetables and fruits. Other non-perishable items needed include:
canned soups, macaroni and cheese and personal care items (soap, shampoo, deodorant,
toothpaste/brush, feminine hygiene products, disposable diapers). Please, no glass items
