FAQ
 Do I have to continue with the same GE class?
 Not necessarily. If you’d rather complete a different sequence, you can but
you’ll have to take 3 courses in that sequence instead of only 2.
 REMINDER: You Cannot Mix Sequences in One Category
 Example: [ANTH1 + ECON 2 + LIGN 3] ≠ One Sequence
 How many classes should I sign up for?
 We recommend signing up for 4, 4-unit classes.
 How can I take 5 classes or more than 19.5 units?
 Starting on the first day of classes, you may enroll in up to 22 units. We do not
recommend this!
 I am a fir st year with advanced standing (45+ units), how do I enroll
in a freshman seminar ?
 Contact the department hosting the seminar through the Virtual Advising
Center. Refer to the freshman seminar enrollment instructions .
IMPORTANT DEADLINES & HOLIDAYS
 Tuesday, Nov. 11 th (Week 6) – Veteran’s Day Holiday – NO SCHOOL
 Thursday Nov. 27 th and Friday Nov. 28 th (Week 8) – Thanksgiving
Holiday – NO SCHOOL
 Friday, December 5 th (Week 9)–Last Day to Drop without an “F”
 Saturday, Dec. 13 th - Friday Dec. 20th – FINALS WEEK
Remember, you can have enrollment times scheduled during these
holidays!
