Teaching & Assessment A range of teaching and learning methods is used within our department: • lectures, • seminars, • practical performance and coaching workshops and • practical laboratory sessions. • A central theme to learning at the college is that of developing the whole person and to empower student learning. • A range of methods are used to assess student work including, examinations, essays, laboratory work, presentations and project work. Facilities • Sports Science and Food Laboratories • A fully equipped sports science and a separate nutrition and food preparation laboratories. They offer excellent facilities for physiology, including fitness testing, sport psychology practical's and dietary analysis and practical work with food. Sports Facilities • Fitness Suite & Sports Hall • The fitness suite comprises of six treadmills, four rowing machines, two steppers and various cardiovascular equipment. Also, there are weight machines for multiuse.
