TESTING
Building a Best-In-Class wheel isn’t done with just parts out of a catalog. It needs to be engineered. And
then it needs to be tested. And then tested again.
At Rolf Prima, we pride ourselves on our engineering, but we don’t pat ourselves on the back until we’ve
validated it through testing. And not just any testing; we’ve developed a testing regimen that puts our
wheels through the literal ringer with tests measuring, among other things, stiffness, impact, braking,
aerodynamics and durability. Why? Because you deserve it.

Bringing the spokes to the
rim in pairs neutralizes the
left and right outward pulling
forces allowing us to build
true wheels on lighter rims
with fewer spokes.
Differential Flange Diameter™
Our patented oversize non-drive
Differential Flange provides
leverage to transmit drive torque
in the rear wheel to the non-drive
spokes, thereby increasing the
number of torque absorbing
spokes.
Dish Reducing Design™
This patented technology
increases the bracing angle
of the drive side spokes to
improve wheel stiffness.

Carbon is no longer the exclusive domain

Our TdF line was designed with just that in
mind, offering faster speeds without weight
penalties. The result of countless hours of
design, development and testing, our TdF
models offer seamless integration of our Delta
Rim Technology on a carbon tubular platform.

wheels on the market, they also boast exceptionally low

Much more than just a climbing wheel,
our Elan line not only trims more weight
from an industry-leading lightweight
wheelset, but also incorporates our Delta
Rim Technology to improve stiffness and

The Echelon is Rolf Prima’s race-capable
work horse. Made with the same refined
hand-building process as our higher-end

ASPIN
Taking a leap forward to incorporate
more aerodynamic benefits and shape,
the Aspin wheel line is built upon custom
hubs and Rolf Prima’s own US made rims.
A dependable option and a premium wheel
for a wide range of riders, the Aspin line is a
great choice for training miles or race day.
New additions include a disc brake compatible
hub and new 650c wheel size.

TANDEM
When your wheel is the wheel to which
all other tandem wheels aspire, you know
you’ve done something right. We should
know – we’ve been engineering and
building performance tandem wheels for
over 10 years.
Our alloy option incorporates the same
Delta Rim Technology used in our Vigor line,
and is engineered for the rigors of tandem use.
Looking for even more speed? In 2014 we introduced
the Tandem Disc Carbon, which has quickly become the
wheel of choice for the tandem teams looking for that
added edge.

HUBS
RIMS
The hubset is the center of it all. Our goal is a hubset that is so dependable that you
forget that you have it. We’ve chosen materials that are not only tough, but lightweight
as well. You’ll find CNC machined titanium freehubs, CNC machined aluminum
hub shells, Enduro ceramic cartridge bearings and independently sprung
hardened steel pawls in our line.
We are obsessive about this because we understand it – you want
something you can count on for your big rides, races and long
tours.

In 2013 we began the journey to build our own aluminum rim
manufacturing line in our Eugene, Oregon facility. We were
proud to begin delivering rims in 2014, just one year later.
Making an aluminum hoop with
holes is easy. Making a precision
bicycle rim is not. The details and
refinement required are downright
painstaking. It’s necessary.
It’s rewarding.

For some, mountain biking is an every
season passion. Whether it’s arranging a
shuttle for an all day long epic adventure
or waiting for that favorite river trail to dry
out, we know. We live it. And we’ve got the
wheelset that will make your ride more fun.
We’ve spent countless hours in the design and
testing of our Ralos and Rage models, so your
only concern is how to get to the trailhead. Mount
them up tubeless if you like and hit the dirt.

or go for style with our P-Town – available with a
120mm or 130mm rear hub spacing build. Choose
