It is designed for bonding exterior grade substrates to foam. It is a fast drying formula and has excellent high coverage. It has good moisture and weather resistance against extreme temperature exposure. The aerosol system reduces application cost by saving time and material. Supplied in portable ready to use package. It is a fast drying formula and has excellent high coverage. It has good moisture and weather resistance against extreme temperature exposure. The aerosol system reduces application cost by saving time and material. Features: High Solids • High Coverage • Fast Drying Formula • Good Moisture Resistance • High Temperature Resistance to 110°C • Ready to Use Designed for bonding exterior grade substrates to foam. Suggested apllications directions for use Make sure the surfaces are clean, dry, free from dirt, dust, oil, loose paint, wax or grease and any other contamination. Substrates should be properly conditioned and along with the adhesive should be between 16 °C and 27 °C before bonding. Agitate canister contents before use. Securely attach hose ET12T and spray gun EG1020 (with 9501) tip on to the canister with applicator gun fully locked. Slowly open the valve on the canister and check for leaks before opening the valve fully. Unscrew the trigger stop/adjusting nut on the applicator away from the trigger 2-3 turns and spray a test pattern. For more adhesive output, continue to screw the nut away from the trigger. Hold spray gun 10cm-25cm away from the surfaces to be covered. Apply an even coat of adhesive to both of the surfaces to be bonded. You may apply up to three coats of adhesive depending on the need for coverage and the application. Always test adhesive on new materials to be bonded to ensure proper bonding and compatibility of the materials to be bonded. Allow the adhesive to dry until tacky then make the bond, applying sufficient pressure to ensure complete contact between the two substrates. Dry time is approximately 1 - 5 minutes, open time is approximately 5 - 20 minutes after application depending on environmental conditions. For Storage, lock the spray gun in the closed position and leave hose attached to the canister with the canister valve open. If the canister is not to be used for at least a Pagina 1/2 Handelsweg 20 8152 BN Lemelerveld Tel.: + 31 (0) 572-371027 Fax: +31 (0) 572-371014 info@epdmsystems.nl www.epdmsystems.nl week, it is recommended to close the valve on the canister and spray out any remaining adhesive and propellant left in the gun and hose until they are completely empty. Only when no more material or propellant is left in the hose or gun, disconnect the hose from the canister and connect to a canister of StarStuk ACR cleaner (sold separately) and spray until the liquid being evacuated from the spray gun is clear. To disconnect and re-connect the canister repeat the steps above. Clean the spray tip by pulling away any dried adhesive or soak the tip in StarStuk ACR cleaner or other solvent until the adhesive softens, then remove. Do not use foreign objects to clean out the tip or insert a pin or sharp object in to the tip. This will damage the tip and greatly effect the spray pattern.
