What is Unique about Amrut?
The Barley
 North West of India is very fertile
 The barley cultivated in India has high protein content of
13 to 15 per cent as against of 7 to 10 per cent needed
for brewing.
 Arable lands in Punjab are irrigated by five Himalayan
Rivers (Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi,
 Beas, Sutlej )

 Small still size of less than 5000 ltrs capacity

The Oak
 Amrut Distillery uses Ex-Bourbon Casks and New
American White oak Casks
 New American White Oak – Lot of Vanillin and provides
sweetness to the whisky
 The colour of the whisky is very rich naturally in such a
short span
