Make sure all orders, both online and paper, are completed by the customer. Slamming is Not Tolerated Customer must complete the online application • Make sure your customers understand and agree to the agreement terms and are aware of any Early Termination Fees • Representatives should note that if a customer cancels service there will be an an adjustment of CABs and TCABs • Customers who don’t understand or agree may file a complaint with BBB Getting It Right 2 Customers cannot be signed up using another Representative’s Team ID that did not personally acquire them – this is Stacking. Getting It Right 3 Only approach or promote ACN’s products and services to your warm market. You can only approach those with whom you have a pre-existing social, business or acquaintance relationship for ACN’s products and services Cold marketing practices go against ACN’s network or “warm” marketing approach and model. Any requests that involve these practices or form of distribution will NOT be approved Cold Marketing to Acquire Customers is Not Allowed Includes: • Mass advertising such as newspapers or magazine advertisements • Purchased leads • Door-to-door selling or advertising • Mass mail distribution • Freely distributed flyers or materials • Trade show participation • Telemarketing • Personal websites (other than a Distributor Website) that promote the products or encourage orders Getting It Right 4 New representatives are not required to personally sign up for ACN products and services to qualify, nor is it a requirement to purchase a Video Phone. 5 The Team Trainer fee is $499 and no further amount of money is required to become an Independent Representative. This also applies to ACN’s Business Tools. It is not a qualification requirement to sign up for Your Business Assistant, nor is the purchase of DVDs, magazines and other tools. Subscription and purchase of Business Tools can only be recommended, not required. Use of the ACN Video Phone with Wireless Air Cards Some new representatives have been encouraged to purchase a video phone and an air card for purpose of demonstration. ACN does not support this. This may result in high wireless bills and the cancellation of the video phone, the air card or both and as such, representatives should not promote or encourage this practice within their teams. Getting It Right 6 Do not make any income claims or earnings guarantees. Use ACN approved hypotheticals only. There will be no tolerance for unapproved income claims Getting It Right 7 All personal marketing materials you create - printed or online – must be approved in writing by ACN Marketing. All requests are considered rejected until written approval is granted, and representatives may not proceed with replication or distribution of any materials until formal approval by ACN is received. No requests for marketing materials will be reviewed without the representative first viewing the online information and documentation. All correspondence for marketing materials must be in writing – no phone calls regarding personal materials or advertising will be taken, nor will approval be given over the phone under any circumstances. Getting It Right 8 Do not use any ACN logos, Donald Trump images or The Celebrity Apprentice logos, or the logos of ACN’s carriers and providers on any materials, including websites. The ACN name, logo and trademarks are all proprietary information belonging to ACN. Only ACN created material – both printed and online – can contain the ACN name, logo and trademarks. No material created by representatives can contain this information. Representatives must refer to themselves as an “ACN Independent Representative”, and this is the only exception to the above rule. The names and logos of our carriers and providers cannot be used on any materials created by representatives. For example, the Verizon name and logo cannot be used. Only wording to the effect of “nation’s leading providers” or “top carriers” are allowed. ACN has created a wide range of flyers and presentations which contain the names and logos of our carriers and providers. These are available in the Product section of MyACN for Representatives. • Direct references to Donald Trump or The Celebrity Apprentice are not allowed • Images or logos pertaining to either Donald Trump or The Celebrity Apprentice are not allowed • Representatives can only use wording such as “multibillionaire endorsement” or “prime time television show.” Only wording to this effect will be approved and allowed • Pictures that representatives get taken with Donald Trump at ACN events are for personal use only and are not to be posted online, or on any social webpages. ACN only has permission to reference Donald Trump and The Celebrity Apprentice on ACN created material and websites. Getting It Right 9 Follow the rules with websites and ACN Videos. You cannot use ACN videos outside of your Distributor Website, ACN websites or the Opportunity Disc Posting videos on video sharing or personal websites is strictly prohibited • Uploading, posting or “ripping” copyrighted videos is not allowed. Copyrighted videos pertains to any video material that is produced and released by ACN. • Representatives are only allowed to link to a video on an ACN website or their Distributor Website General Rules Regarding Websites: • Cannot contain ACN videos, images, documents or forms. • Logos and references that belong to ACN, our carriers or the Trump organization are not allowed. • No product information should appear on any website, as this classifies as cold marketing. Information can be about the Business Opportunity only. • Under no circumstances are personal websites allowed to receive or place orders for ACN products and services. Orders are only to be placed through ACN’s country specific customer portals. • Representatives cannot post listings on Craigslist, Ebay, or any other online store ACN Distributor Websites is the best online tool Getting It Right 10 Representatives cannot make any representations about ACN to any media outlets or members of the media. If approached by members of the media, representatives must follow the approved ACN script for handling media inquiries. You may not: • Comment or discuss anything to do with ACN the company, its products, the Opportunity, or its appearance on The Celebrity Apprentice. • Make false or misleading income claims. • Make any comments that will lead them to believe you are employed or are an authorized contact for the company.
