Egypt Reading Activities
You are going to be assigned to a group to complete a reading
selection about ancient Egypt, take notes, and complete review
questions.
You will either be a sphinx, mummy, or a pyramid. Within these
groups you may chose to work with a partner to complete the
activities.
Once assigned to a group, you will be given a slip of paper with
directions for completing your activity. Follow the directions
EXACTLY!!
DO NOT KEEP THESE DIRECTIONS OR RUIN THEM!!! I need
to use them multiple times.
If you are a mummy, you will be using the brown textbook under
your desk.
If you are a sphinx or a pyramid, you will be using a reading
provided by me. DO NOT WRITE ON THESE OR KEEP THEM!!
Egypt Reading Activities
1. I am now going to assign you to your groups.
2. When I say “GO!” take all of your stuff and move to the area
of the room that I designate for your group.
3. Within this group decide if/who you are going to work with
to complete today’s activity.
4. You have 30 seconds to move to your area and make your
decision about working arrangements for today’ activity.
