EBlink 5G-PPP positioning
• Radio network architecture and technologies
 P4: 5G New Spectrum and mm-Wave Air Interface for Access, Backhaul and Fronthaul
• P4: Objective
 To research and design mm-wave air interface, its key technology components , and
system architecture as an integral component of 5G, enabling
 Superior user experience of UHD/3D TV, immersive and cloud –based services on future
generation mobile devices
 Flexible and dynamic utilization of wide bands of contiguous spectrum in mmWave region
to support economically viable access, backhaul and front haul solutions for ultra-dense
deployment
• Examples of Fronthaul requirements to reach P4 objective
 Very high speed data connectivity (10-100x data-rate )
 mmWave frequency bands
 High spectral efficiency
