You ought to live holy and godly lives… 14So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him… 17Therefore, dear friends, since you already know this, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of lawless men and fall from your secure position. 18But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and 27Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, 28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. 1. I will put my faith in Jesus for the salvation of my soul. 2. I believe that the course of my life now has great implications on the condition of my eternity. 3. I will "keep watch" of my life, to be prepared and confident at Christ's return. 4. I will live each day, making the most of every opportunity, for God's glory.
