MBADIFA(district farmers association) is designated to support farmers in developing remunerative agricultural enterprises in enhancing food security. EBO’s role in the program design is to provide farmer friendly savings and loans services . More than one million people’s livelihoods have been improved through saving investments increased household income and food security. Typically ,its members are farmers,has 30 group members(18 males and 12 females) The group received various trainings as result of programme intervention. All group members have atleast an activity that generates income per week. They grow crops for both commercial and consumption purposes(Banana plantations) All members with school going children are able borrow from EBO or mobilize from their savings and send their children to school without defaulting as it used to be before.
