Training
◦ National Leagues Teams

Practices are 4 to 5 times/week
Practices are 1.5 to 2.0 hours long
Morning practices
Additional Dry Land Training
Monthly Schedule should be a set schedule
Sport Psychologist and Nutritionist (in discussion)
Referee Clinic (planned)
Attendance taken for all practices

Training

 Some fluidity due to candidates
 Building for long term coach development
 Requires “Coach Team” model to work

Team Sponsorship/Fundraising
◦ You are encouraged to organize and participate
◦ Team Sponsorship would help fund the whole team
 Must follow WPC and WPQ restrictions/guidelines
 Must be approved by DDO Water Polo
◦ Fundraising helps the individual player
 Helps fund the participants
 Based upon the families contribution
 Paid directly into the player’s account

Costs
◦ Costs based upon best knowledge at the time





◦ Some costs are to be borne by all participants
◦ Some costs have flexibility
 But still come with a commitment cost
