Stem-changing verbs
Verbs with vowel variations in their
stems are called stem-changing
verbs.
You have already learned poder,
where the “o” changes to UE (puedo).
In the verb DORMIR (to sleep), the O
of the stem changes to UE in all forms
except nosotros/as and vosotros/as
