MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Save Good Counsel Now, Inc. is to allow
Our Lady of Good Counsel Academy High School to
continue its almost 100 year tradition of educating young
women on its White Plains, campus and allow the Sisters
in residence to remain in their rightful home.
We recognize the financial needs of the Sisters of the
Divine Compassion and strive to work with them to utilize
the campus for the funds needed in a way that allows the
High School and the Sisters to remain and provide a
quality, affordable education in the spirit of Mother Mary
Veronica.

Who is Save The Good Counsel Community Now, Inc:
• Parents, students, Sisters, faculty and alumni.
• Our goal has been to find a solution to meet both
the financial needs of the Sisters and keep the
school on the campus.
• We believe in the vision and mission of Mother
Mary Veronica and Monsignor Preston in educating
Confident Women Compassionate Leaders.
• The Sisters have served our community for almost
100 years and now it is our turn to take care of
them.

PLAN TO SAVE GOOD COUNSEL
1) Financial Backer and Experienced Team in place.
2) Feasibility studies of campus are underway.
3) Pay a market price for the campus (such as can be supported with the
continued operation of the Convent, High School, Chapel, and other
Ministries).
4) Keep the High School Open, Make Improvements where needed, Build
Enrollment, Commence Long Term Strategic Planning, and Map Out
How to Deliver Facilities that will be appropriate for the next 50 Years +.

ACQUISITION PROCESS & FINANCING
1) Funds secured by Financial Backer.
2) Financial Backer Requires Good Counsel Community to
Show Strong Demonstration of Financial Support.
3) Additional Funding Will Be Needed For Improvements
to Campus Facilities and Potential Operating Deficits of
the High School.
4) GCA Community Must Contribute Financially To
Ensure Success.
