How do we Count FTE’s in an EES School Agreement How do I count Full-Time Equivalent employees? Calculate your FTE employees using the following formula: - - You can exclude employees who are non-desktop PC users, such as maintenance or food service staff. Please note: If you are outside the United States, the method for counting FTE employees may differ. Please contact your local reseller for details. Is there a minimum requirement to participate in EES? The standard minimum requirement for your first order under an EES is 300 units, except in Latin America where the minimum is 100 units, and Asia-Pacific (excluding Australia, New Zealand, Greater China Region, and Korea) where the minimum is 200 units. How do we Count Student's in an EES School Agreement How does Student Option work? By including the Student Option in your EES, you can license selected products and services for use on your students’ personally-owned devices or on organization-owned devices that are individually assigned to a student’s exclusive use (for example, a laptop checked out to a student for the school year). Can I license just a department of students for the Student Option? Yes, if the department is the “organization” entering into the EES. You must license 100 percent of the students enrolled in the department to qualify for Server Option. Do I have to license the same products for my students, staff, and faculty? No. The licensed products you select for students do not have to match your faculty and staff selections. What does Student Option Provide in EES Agreement When students graduate, can they keep the licensed product on their own devices? Upon graduation, graduate students licensed under the Student Option may be granted perpetual use rights for the current version of the licensed products as of graduation. “Graduate” means a student has completed (i) a grade or a .level in a school or an educational institution that qualifies the student for enrollment into college or university or (ii) a diploma or degree from college or university. To transfer perpetual use rights, you must provide each Graduate with a license agreement and must secure from the Graduate his or her acceptance of the terms of the license agreement. Upon acceptance of the license agreement, the Graduate’s right to run the Products identified in the license confirmation becomes perpetual. These rights do not apply to access licenses, including CALs, or to Online Services EES Desk top Pro ECAL Suite FTE and Student Option Pricing (Year 1 is 14 month Term, to move anniversary to March of 2012) Part Number Item Name Program Offering DsktpEdu ALNG LicSAPk MVL EntCAL / Campus 2UJ-00003 with Server Option 3 Faculty Level Purch ase Pool Unit Product Type Product Family HP Price B 1 NonYear(s specifi License/Software Desktop ) c Assurance Pack Education 98.87 DsktpEdu ALNG LicSAPk MVL EntCAL / Campus 2UJ-00003 with Server Option 3 Student NonSpecific 1 NonYear(s specifi License/Software Desktop ) c Assurance Pack Education 52.32 EntCal ALNG LicSAPK MVL / with Server 76A-00025 Option Campus Student NonSpecific 1 NonYear(s specifi License/Software Desktop ) c Assurance Pack Education 25.68 Enterprise Cal SKU # 76A-00025 DOES NOT Include Office Pro or Win 7 Enterprise EES Desk top Pro ECAL Suite FTE and Student Option Pricing (Year 2 & 3 will be a 12 month term with pricing as shown) Part Number Item Name Program Offering Level Purcha se Unit Pool Product Type Product Family HP Price DsktpEdu ALNG LicSAPk MVL EntCAL / Campus 2UJ-00003 with Server Option 3 Faculty B 1 NonLicense/Software Year(s) specific Assurance Pack Desktop Education 84.63 DsktpEdu ALNG LicSAPk MVL EntCAL / Campus 2UJ-00003 with Server Option 3 Student NonSpecif 1 NonLicense/Software ic Year(s) specific Assurance Pack Desktop Education 44.00 EntCal ALNG LicSAPK MVL / with Server 76A-00025 Option Campus Student NonSpecif 1 NonLicense/Software ic Year(s) specific Assurance Pack Desktop Education 21.99 Enterprise Cal SKU# 76A-00025 DOES NOT Include Office Pro or Win 7 Enterprise Example for EES Pricing: 1) ABC School has 200 Employees with 400 students.
