Two Great Universities
One Great Program
Liaoning Normal University (LNU) and Missouri State
University (MSU) created the LNU-MSU College of
International Business in 2000. The language of
instruction is English, and all faculty meet the hiring
standards of both universities
You also have the option to complete a Missouri
State University BS degree in General Business, while
staying all four years in Dalian. Studying in China will
cost approximately $10,000 (including housing, etc)

on these tests. If you have attended or are attending a
high school in the USA, Canada and U.K. or the Maple

Important Message
The advising office intends to help you in these
matters in any appropriate way that it can. It also
asks you to help yourself, if possible. One way to do
that is to join the Blackboard site, Advising-Dalian,
and browse the relevant documents. Occasionally
our help might not be seen as help. Sometimes we
must adhere to the rules of Missouri State University
regarding students whose academic performance is
below the acceptable standard. In these cases, we

Housing and Meals
Most international students live in private
apartments close to campus. These apartments are
furnished, clean, and reasonably priced at 1500 –
2000 RMB/month. You may also live in the foreign
student dormitory owned by Liaoning Normal
University, a shared dorm room is 1200 RMB/month.
Inexpensive meals are available at campus
cafeterias. A wide variety of restaurants, grocery
stores, apartments and shops surround the campus.

VISA AND POLICE REGISTRATION
Your Visa
If at all possible, we suggest you apply as a tourist
visa to come here. When you arrive, our staff,
specifically Helen Li and Selina Song, will help you
to transfer your tourist visa to a student visa
If you do request a student visa to come, you will
need a JW202 form which is the Chinese equivalent
of the I-20 from universities in the United States.

Your Visa
You must eventually have a JW202 student visa. You
must also be careful not to overstay your time in
China. Contact Selina Song and Helen Li to make
sure your visa is up-to-date
Non – Chinese nationals, must go see Selina Song
to register with the local police. She will arrange a
time to take everyone at one time to the police
station to provide your passport and address
information. Every time you change apartments or
