Mentoring plan preparation (6days /6weeks/6months) will be used not only for mentoring planning but also for research project proposals, academic calendar and class room teaching plan too. The hidden unexplored features of MS office can make research & teaching work very easy. Things like mail merge, documents in pdf formats make otherwise complicated paper work simpler. Sky drive and its data sharing feature with editing can help research scholars and guides to track data collection and data compilation easier. LCDS provides a way to digitalization of content and it empowers teachers for hassle free content handling and updation, content sharing & upgrading as well. Here in Microsoft Saksham workshop I have learnt computers. It was explained in systematic & detailed manner that even most computer experts are not able to explain it so well. It boosted my confidence and workshop has evoked curiosity in me for ICT. Knowledge gets multiplied when shared; it has been famously said. Whatever I have learnt here, I will share with my colleagues in college. They will be linked under NME ICT programme too. The mentoring plan implementation will involve working in group, within specific timeline will be another achievement for us. This will be second achievement of this workshop. The third important point is somehow we have other learnings’ as well; these are going to help us not only in mentoring but also in other life situations for eg. SCAMPER chapter provides some clues on how to solve problems. If we see problems in scientific manner with scientific temperament then we will be able to get better results and can come up with better solutions. In this manner this workshop has given us three dimensional learning by which we will be able to take our teaching, research and environment in new path. Mr. Rajesh Shukla Asst. Prof.- History Govt. Ravishankar Shukla University from 12 Dec to 22 Dec 2011 is quite useful for me. The workshop not only helps me in learning mentoring process but also in learning the use of ICT in education and research. In this workshop I learnt use of Microsoft word, MS-excel, Power Point presentation and use of internet in academic field in general and economics in particular.
