1 About (DACT) Training Options • The DACT project is jointly funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Department of Social Protection (DSP) • DACT is targeted at the Border, Midlands and Western regions • The target group for this funded project is people with disability, 16 to 65 years of age • Participants must be in receipt of a disability/illness welfare payment 2 Training Options (Eligibility) To qualify, participants should be in receipt of any of the following disability/illness welfare payments; 1. Disability allowance Invalidity Pension Illness Benefit Blind Pension Disablement Benefit Incapacity Supplement Injury Benefit 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 3 Training Options (Programme) 390 learners over 32 months in 8 locations across the Border/Midland/Western Region.
