• The Philippians’ church is a very mission
minded church.腓立比教会是一间充满
宣教使命的教会。
Philippians 腓立比书 (NIV)1:1-10
Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus,
To all God’s holy people in Christ Jesus at
Philippi, together with the overseers and
deacons:2 Grace and peace to you from
God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
基督耶稣的仆人保罗和提摩太，写信给
凡住腓立比，在基督耶稣里的众圣徒和
诸位监督、诸位执事。 2 愿恩惠、平安
从神我们的父并主耶稣基督归于你们！
Thanksgiving and Prayer为门徒祈求感谢
3 I thank my God every time I remember
you. 4 In all my prayers for all of you, I
always pray with joy 5 because of your
partnership in the gospel from the first day
until now, 6 being confident of this, that he
who began a good work in you will carry it
on to completion until the day of Christ
Jesus3 我每逢想念你们，就感谢我的神；
4 每逢为你们众人祈求的时候，常是欢欢
喜喜地祈求。 5 因为从头一天直到如今，
你们是同心合意地兴旺福音。 6 我深信那

is right for me to feel this way about all of you,
since I have you in my heart and, whether I am in
chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of
you share in God’s grace with me. 8 God can testify
how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ
Jesus.9 And this is my prayer: that your love may
abound more and more in knowledge and depth of
insight, 10 so that you may be able to discern what is
best and may be pure and blameless for the day of
Christ,7 我为你们众人有这样的意念原是应当的，因
你们常在我心里，无论我是在捆锁之中，是辩明证
实福音的时候，你们都与我一同得恩。 8 我体会基
督耶稣的心肠，切切地想念你们众人，这是神可以

The church at Philippi was founded by
Paul in his second missionary journey.
They became his big supporters in his
mission to plant more churches.腓立比
的教会是保罗在他第二次宣教旅程的
时候而被建立的。腓立比教会是保罗
在外邦地建立教会的最大支持者。
• Apostle Paul praised the church for its
continuous support of his mission work
保罗称赞他们，是因为他们不断支持保
罗宣教的事工。
Since the church started as recorded in Acts
16, it never stop doing it.圣经记录腓立比
教会从使徒行传十六章就开始不断地支持
保罗的事奉。
• “ because of your partnership in the
gospel from the first day until now”因为
从头一天直到如今，你们是同心合意地
兴旺福音。
• They stood by Paul in his imprisonment
and in his defence and upholding the
Gospel. (v7)无论保罗是在监狱里，还是
在辩明证实福音的时候，他们总是充满
宣教的使命。
• They prayed unceasingly for Paul. (V19)
他们不间断地为保罗祷告。
• They sent Bro Epaphroditus to look after
Paul’s physical needs in prison. (2:25)他们
派弟兄以巴弗提去到监狱里，去照顾保
罗的需要。
Paul’s imprisonment turned out to be a
great witness to the whole palace guard.
(V13)保罗在监狱里，在守卫面前为耶稣
基督作见证。
They gave generously to support Paul’s
work. (4:15-18)腓立比教会慷慨地支持保
罗的服侍。

15 Now you Philippians know also that in the
beginning of the gospel, when I departed
from Macedonia, no church shared with me
concerning giving and receiving but you
only. 16 For even in Thessalonica you sent aid
once and again for my necessities. 15 腓立比
人哪，你们也知道我初传福音，离了马其
顿的时候，论到授受的事，除了你们以外
并没有别的教会供给我。 16 就是我在帖撒
罗尼迦，你们也一次两次地打发人供给我
的需用。
17 Not
that I seek the gift, but I seek the
fruit that abounds to your account.
18 Indeed I have all and abound. I am
full, having received from Epaphroditus
the things sent from you, a sweetsmelling aroma, an acceptable
sacrifice, well pleasing.17 我并不求什么
馈送，所求的就是你们的果子渐渐增
多，归在你们的账上。 18 但我样样都
有，并且有余。我已经充足，因我从
以巴弗提受了你们的馈送，当做极美
的香气，为神所收纳所喜悦的祭物。

churches in Singapore. 真光堂的建立是
通过许多新加坡教会的奉献来支持。
• Is it the time for us to be funding the
planting of churches in China and in
other places?是否现在我们也用奉献来
支持中国，或是其他地方的宣教事工
呢？
