Current Events Quiz Bee
Veterinary Medicine Week Celebration
A team should be composed of three (3) persons
with a registration fee of PhP150.00.
The scope of quiz bee is local, national and
international current events from the year 2011
up-to-the-present.
All questions are read twice by the quiz master and
one minute is given for answering. Answers are
written on the paper provided. At the end of time,
the contestants are asked to show their answer to
their designated proctor. The proctor will raise a flag
if the answer is correct.
The quiz bee is divided into two parts. The first
part is the elimination round composing the Easy and
the Average Rounds. The final part is the Difficult
Round.
A correct answer at the Easy Round is equal to TWO
points, the Average Round is FIVE points and the
Difficult Round is 10 points.
Top 10 highest scores for the Easy Round qualify for
the Average Round invalidating the previous scores. So
with the top 10 highest scores for the average Round
qualify for the Difficult Round, also, invalidating the
previous scores.
Wrong answer on the Difficult Round is deducted
with FIVE points. A blank answer sheet will have no
deduction.
A tie-breaking question is thrown with one point
each correct answer. The first team to accumulate a
score of three qualifies to the next round.
Trophy and certificates or appreciation will be
awarded to winners. All participants will also be
receiving certificates of participation.
